SMallPox Before The Common ERA
Smallpox is believed to have emerged in the human population around 10,000 B.C.E. (in Africa) the earliest evidence with any credibility being on Egyptian mummies believed to of killed 5 straight monarchs, cause a third of Ancient Egypt's blindness. Killing 20 - 60% of those it infected and around 80% of infected children.
Image (see above) Rameses V reigned for only five years during the 20th Dynasty (c. 1196-1070 B.C.). He died in his early 30s, and a possible reason for his premature death can be found on his mummy, which is scarred on the face, neck, and chest caused potentially by smallpox

Smallpox was spread by the Europeans whilst "Discovering, Exploring and Conquering" new lands the Spanish spreading it to the Americas and the English spreading it to Australia (see map on side).
